Research Assistance
- We support the National Archives volunteer program that provides trained individuals to help you with your research.
- We offer a research service if you are unable to come to the Archives. Minimum charge, $45 for up to three hours, $15 for each additional hour. We welcome your e-mail queries.
Workshops
- We host an annual full-day genealogy conference.
- We provide workshops to develop your skills and knowledge in genealogical research.
- We offer orientation programs, tours of the NARA-Pittsfield facility, demonstrations and lectures.
- We give assistance to visiting school groups and other interested organizations.
Publications
- We publish the award-winning journal, Archival Anecdotes, featuring educational articles for the genealogist.
Archives Support
- We purchase materials for the Archives.
- We host social events for the volunteer staff at the Archives.
The Gift Shop
- We provide a complete genealogy bookstore, selling essential research books, charts and software as well as genealogy related gift items..
- We place special orders for our members.
